Brittany Lynne is a Yoga Alliance-certified E-RYT yoga & meditation TEACHER and yoga nidra guide based in Los Angeles, Costa Rica & The Bay Area. She leads classes, workshops, retreats and trainings internationally and has brought mindfulness programs into some of the most prominent companies in Los Angeles. 

After recognizing the powerful and life-changing effects of meditation and yoga in her own life, Brittany shifted a career in photography and film into one of sharing the practices that led her to a healthier and happier lifestyle. Brittany has studied yoga, meditation, sound healing, breathwork and yoga nidra in Los Angeles and Costa Rica and has led over 2,000 hours of practice with her students. Brittany is currently living in Costa Rica where she's a Guest Teacher at the Lakshmi Rising School for Yoga & Wellness and a Faculty Member at the Tantric Alchemy Institute, both of which facilitate 200hr Yoga Teacher Training programs at The Sanctuary at Two Rivers.

Brittany specializes in teaching mindfulness, meditation, sound healing and yoga nidra as well as physical yoga practices (vinyasa flow, Yin, restorative & gentle yoga.) Brittany guides individuals & private groups in their homes & offices in addition to teaching at yoga studios and retreat centers. She also works with schools and athletes to integrate a yoga & mindfulness routine into their programs for flexibility, focus & mind/body balance.

Brittany guides her classes with creative, intelligent sequencing and the intention of cultivating present-moment awareness to invite balance and a deep sense of calm to her students so that they may embody their own journey of Beautifully Awakening. She's passionate about sharing yoga and meditation with her community and loves hearing people's stories of their own shifts into a more balanced way of living. Brittany strives to share her light with the world and encourages others to do the same.

"Moderation and mindfulness are very important to me – I believe that integrating yoga and meditation into your daily wellness habits helps to cultivate a holistic foundation for a happy and balanced life.

I stepped into my first yoga class in 2005 and my passion for the practice of asana and meditation has since grown into a lifestyle. Ever since starting a regular yoga practice, I have found it easier to stay present, laugh (a lot) and enjoy beauty in the world around me. I believe yoga and meditation is a journey that is very personal to the practicing individual. We all have different bodies and emotions and what might feel amazing to one student can cause discomfort for another. I encourage my students to listen to the guidance of their intuition and practice for the bodies they have in this moment.

Life can get pretty serious but the time we spend in our practice doesn’t have to be. I bring a light-hearted sense of playfulness and ease to my teachings, providing a space for my students to face physically challenging asanas with an adventurous spirit but also encouraging them to know when it’s time for their bodies to rest. In my classes, I emphasize the idea that practice makes progress, not perfect. Yoga isn’t just about crazy inversions and burning an incredible amount of calories; and meditation isn’t about making the mind completely still and free from thought – these practices are about what you can learn during challenging times and what you take with you when you step off of the mat and return to your daily life.

I take a holistic approach to teaching yoga, focusing on creative, intelligent sequencing while integrating pranayama, meditation, intention setting and inspiring themes. I specialize in teaching a physically challenging Vinyasa Flow, in addition to nourishing Meditation, Sound Bath, Yoga Nidra, Restorative & Yin Yoga practices. I have taught at many prominent companies in Los Angeles, I teach private and studio classes and I lead international yoga teacher trainings and yoga & meditation retreats. My purpose, as a teacher, is to guide my students through safe and fun classes with the intention of cultivating peace, happiness and balance.
